Pinan 1-5 #2
1h 3m
This continuation of the Pinan series presents Pinan Shodan through Godan as Hanshi Juchnik now interprets them through his time with Mitose Sensei from 1977 until 1981. The tape works through gamae in motion, the relationship between hand manipulation and base manipulation, and a different way of viewing the gedan barai using the analogy of shielding from the sun rather than attacking it. Each Pinan is broken down with attention to centers, triangulation, transitional movement, and how one motion sets up the next, demonstrating that conceptual study has no fixed endpoint while technique-based study tends to stop growing.
